Ruby and Garnet are ten-year-old twins. They're identical, and they do EVERYTHING together, especially since their mother died three years earlier - but they couldn't be more different. Bossy, bouncy, funny Ruby loves to take charge, and is desperate to be a famous actress, while quiet, sensitive, academic Garnet loves nothing more than to curl up with one of her favourite books. And when everything around the twins is changing so much, can being a double act work for ever?
This book is hilarious, mischievous and trouble.

I loved this book, one of the classics. In 'my sister Jodie' Pearl says she's reading a book about twins and they break friends and one goes to boarding school and the other doesn't. Sound familiar?

Ruby and Garnet are the best! This is a Twin Trouble book! Jacqueline Wilson is the best! I love this book!

Ruby and Garnet are identical twin sisters. They look so alike that lots of people can’t tell them apart. They can speak their own private language to each other and love to surprise people by suddenly saying or doing exactly the same thing at the same time. Ruby was born twenty minutes before Garnet, and she’s carried on being the pushier, bossier twin ever since. The girls share one goal – to stick together.
